We have just finished the construction of our new 35 Million Gallon reservoir. The reservoir has been built to store water from winter rainfall. We have built the reservoir to supply water for our potatoes and other important crops. It gives us an economic and secure source of water for the future.

This project is supported by the Rural Development Programme for England, for which Defra is the Managing Authority, part-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas.

We currently use water for our crops from a wide range of sources. We have access to bore holes, river abstraction and other reservoirs. We need this water for our high value crops, as it secures quality and yields to supply the nation.

To insure we do not waste water during irrigation, we are managing our water usage with Enviroscan water meters. These instruments measure our water usage through-out the growing season. For more information on these, please visit the website, which is run by Peter White.
